Information

If you have any specific audio needs, such as sound effects for use in a project, such as a website or other media project, this can be accommodated and produced on a given media format, including a number of memory card types and DVD media.  Most audio formats from MP3 to AC3 encoded surround sound can be provided, as well as raw Wave samples in a number of industry standard formats.  Audio can also be supplied, ready encoded in streaming Flash Format (An SWF file), with or without import protection.

As new media formats become available, these are investigated to see if they have any potential in the online community.  For example, the WMA Pro format can be used to stream surround sound across the internet, but has only recently become a viable streaming format as internet speeds have increased.  The additional audio channels mean that the overall file size is larger, and more simultaneous data being transmitted, so faster download speeds are required.  Such potential pitfalls are always discussed at a consultation stage before any work is started, this is done to stop time being wasted and unnecessary time and money being wasted.  With audio work, I have always felt that proper planning from the beginning of a project is essential.

Web Media

If you need music or sound effects for a website, I can compose custom music or sound effects for your specific needs in any streaming web format.  For example, music can be embedded in a flash file that you can then embed in a web page for the music to stream while the page is on view, MP3 or WMA format for downloadable music or WMA Pro for web based surround sound music.

Multimedia / Games

Today's games require a depth of sound far beyond what was available even a few years ago.  Soundtracks that either drive or complement the game, sound effects that enhance the visual experience are all part of today's gaming community, with compilations of the best game music now available to play at your convenience.  There is even a website dedicated to in-game music, as the genre has grown from the simple beeps of the earliest games systems to the surround sound experiences of today.

But multimedia does not just stop at games, corporate presentations can also require effects and music, sometimes these are already available, but in a format that can not be easily used.  Here we can provide format conversion and if needed, composition services to bring presentations to life.

Broadcast Media

Today's broadcasting requires clear audio with precision editing and stereo sound.  The broadcasting of tomorrow will require multi-channel audio covering surround sound and stereo formats, something that is already required in the film industry.

Sound to picture, spot effects, music or cleaning up of audio recordings is all possible.  If you have any specific requirements, please get in touch to discuss
